The second installment of ‘Student Of The Year’ starring Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria alongside Tiger Shroff has gone on the floor last month. The expectations from the sequel have doubled up this time because of the first installment, which was immensely successful at the ticket counter.
According to a Times of India report, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra, who played the lead in the first part, will apparently feature in ‘Student Of The Year 2’. While nothing has been revealed about their role, it is said that the leading ladies Tara Sutaria and Ananya Pandey’s characters will battle it out to win Tiger’s attention in the film.
While Varun and Sidharth are believed to do a cameo in the film, the leading lady of the first installment Alia Bhatt is nowhere mentioned. This could possibly be because Alia already has her diaries full with films like ‘Raazi’,
‘Brahmastra’, ‘Gully Boy’, ‘Kalank’ and ‘Zero’.
According to reports, ‘Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai’ fame actor Rajesh Kumar and Samir Soni will also be part of the film.
The cast and crew of ‘Student Of The Year 2’ recently finished shooting in Dehradun. They are currently shooting in Mussoorie. The film is being directed by Punit Malhotra and has been produced by Karan Johar. It is slated to hit screens on November 23 this year.
