SRINAGAR, AUGUST 29: Director SKIMS, Prof. Mohd. Ashraf Ganie, today held a meeting with Regional Director IGNOU, RC Srinagar, Dr. A. H. Rizvi, to review the functioning of Learning Study Centre (LSC) 30040 at SKIMS, which offers various health courses. The meeting was attended by Prof. G. H. Yatoo, HOD, Hospital Administration & Coordinator of Learning Study Centre 30040 SKIMS, and Assistant Regional Director, Dr. Mohd. Abdullaah, along with their supportive staff, including Farhan and G. R. Raina.
During the meeting, the Director was informed that LSC 30040 at SKIMS is running a range of courses, including the Postgraduate Diploma in Health & Hospital Management, Postgraduate Diploma in Geriatric Medicine, Postgraduate Diploma in Child & Maternity Health, Diploma in Nursing Administration, Diploma in Critical Care Nursing, and MSCDFSM. Over 200 students are currently enrolled in these various programs.Prof. M. Ashraf Ganie, along with Dr. Rizvi and Dr. G. H. Yatoo, also visited the classroom and interacted with the students, who expressed their satisfaction during the feedback session.Prof. Ganie expressed pleasure with the courses offered by LSC 30040 at SKIMS. In a unanimous agreement, the Director of SKIMS and the Regional Director of IGNOU decided that SKIMS will formalize an MOU with IGNOU to introduce additional courses and collaborate on more academic activities, benefiting both the Institute and its students.
