An official said that the deceased was doing coaching for SSB exams in Jammu and he suddenly fell unconscious near Irrigation Department at Canal Road.

He said that he was declared dead on arrival by the doctors at GMC Jammu.

The official identified the deceased as Umar Sidiq Son of Mohammad Sidiq, a resident of Buchroo area of Chadoora.

Locals, however, suspect a “preplanned murder” as the deceased’s face had bruised marks on his face.
