Srinagar, Dec 02: Anantnag police arrested a bootlegger and recovered illicit liquor from his possession.
Police Post Sangam, during a naka checking at Halmula Sangam intercepted a suspected person, later identified as Noor Mohammed Ganie son of Ab.
Rahim Ganie resident of Kazimpora Marhama sangam. On his search, bottles of illicit liquor was recovered from his possession.
In this regard, a case FIR Number 204/2018 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Bijbehara and further investigation is on.
