Bandipora, August 3, 2024 — The District Bandipora Tennikoit Association conducted its general body elections today at the Food Villa Restaurant in Bandipora. Mr. Faisal Ali Dar, a Padma Shri awardee and Joint Secretary of the J&K Tennikoit Association, was appointed as the observer for the elections. He meticulously oversaw the process to ensure a smooth and transparent election.
The elections resulted in the formation of a new governing body for the Bandipora district for the next four years. The newly elected office bearers are:
- President: Mr. Zakir Hussain Malik
- Vice President: Mr. Yawer Fayaz
- General Secretary: Mr. Sahil Majid
- Treasurer: Mr. Shahnawaz Ahmad
- Joint Secretaries: Mrs. Farah Aziz and Ms. Arjumand Shafi

The election proceedings began with an insightful speech from Mr. Faisal Ali Dar, who highlighted the importance of the event and the future of Tennikoit in the region. The occasion was attended by prominent Tennikoit athletes from J&K.
