Saif Ali Khan’s upcoming business crime drama ‘Baazaar’ is all set to hit the screens this October 26. And the actor along with the entire cast of the film – Radhika Apte, Chitrangada Singh and Rohan Mehra was in Delhi for its promotion.

Talking about his character in ‘Baazaar’, Saif stated, “My character is of a rich Gujurati businessman, who is proud and aggressive and has no respect for families. He is somebody who always wants to challenge orders and situations. I can say he is a corporate reader who is interested in profit and money.”

Saif, who will be seen as Shakun Kothari aka Nawab in the film, said that it was one of the best role he has portrayed on the screen till now.

Radhika Apte, who plays a pivotal role in the film, was asked about the different chatacters she has portrayed till now, to which she stated, “I have been thinking about it recently and I can say one thing that definitely started to happen in my life that you know when you portray different characters, you come across with certain parts and somehow it sinks with your personal life. You attract certain stories towards you. You have to play such parts which resemble people. You have to play that convincingly. I think its teaching me empathy. It teaching me how to not be upset and angry, and make me understand where people come from and let them be. On another level i feel this is one of the most different profession in a way, the amount of people you meet and amount of stories you come across every day. It’s really inspiring to see such creativity, challenged inspired.”

‘Baazaar’ is set in the backdrop of money, power and business, largely based on the stock market. Actress Elli Avram will be seen in a special dance number titled ‘Billionaire’ in the film. The film is directed by Gauravv K Chawla. It is written by Nikkhil Advani, Aseem Arora and Parveez Sheikh and is featured under the banner of Viacom18 Motion Pictures, Kyta Productions and Emmay Entertainment.
