Apni Party’s Aftab Malik wins Srinagar DDC Chairperson elections

Srinagar: Jammu And Kashmir Apni Party, Aftab Malik has won Srinagar DDC Chairperson Elections, while Bilal Bhat of the same party has been elected DDC Vice Chairperson.

Mayor Srinagar and Apni Party leader, Junaid Mattu announced the decision on Twitter.

 “Congratulations to Aftab Ahmed Malik from @Apnipartyonline on being elected as the DDC Chairman for Srinagar District with a 2/3rd majority!! Congratulations to Bilal Ahmed Bhat also from @Apnipartyonline on being elected Vice Chairman!” he tweeted.

As per initial reports, of the 14 votes, 13 votes were polled of which Malik Aftab secured 10.

NC’s Kaiser Ganai was the runner-up with three votes.
