Akhtar Wani declared as powerful man of the year

Srinagar: Akhtar Wani emerged overall winner in the first Golden Brands Power lifting championship held at Dak Bunglow Sopore.
Akhtar Wani was declared as powerful man of the year after lifting more weight than any other competitor. In the event around, 100 power lifters from Baramulla and Kupwara took part in 10-categories.
The competitors took part in bench press, dead lift and squat disciplines.
During the Championship present Mr. Kashmir Wasim Khan, Ex Mr. Kashmir Umer Farooq were the guests while as Golden Brands Owner Asif Rashid were the Guest of honour.
The event was also graced by the presence of other dignitaries & enthusiastic crowd.
Golden Brands Owner Asif Rashid announced special prize (LED) and much more trophies and giving road for Jerai Classic from his firm for the winner of 1ST Golden Brands Powerful man of the year 2018 as a taken of appreciation & encouragement.
