Adequate arrangements for transportation of fruits available in Pulwama: DC

PULWAMA, SEPTEMBER 02: Keeping in view the peak harvesting season of fruit crops, District Development Commissioner (DDC) Pulwama Dr Syed Abid Rashid Shah today said that elaborate arrangements have been put in place for the transportation of fruits in the district.

The DDC said that all concerned stake holders including horticulture marketing and planning department, fruit growers and transporters have been taken on board for ensuring better transportation plan.

The DDC said that the administration is committed to curb the overcharging on transportation and provide better transport and other facilities to the growers so that the fruits can be transported outside the state without any problem. He said that all arrangements have been put in place at both fruit mandis of Pachhaar and Pirchoo in Pulwama.

He further appealed people to contact District Administration or concerned appointed nodal officers, in case of any problem.
