The honeymoon period is over and Bigg Boss 13 first runner-up and J&K-born model Asim Riaz is facing the heat in the murky world of glitz and glamour.
During his media interaction, Asim Riaz admitted that he was promised the moon initially but nothing happened later.
“I don’t know why people only associate my name with rapping. I am just not only rapping. I am doing rapping, acting, and music videos. My main focus is acting only eventually, but when I am not getting work, I can’t keep banging on people’s doors that please give me work. In the beginning, a lot of promises were made to me, but that did not happen and I am fine. I am happy I am living my life. Until the time I am not doing the acting job, I don’t want to still be idle. I am keeping myself busy with songs. God has given me this talent where I can write songs, produce them, and act in them, so why shouldn’t I do this? Why should I wait for someone to give me work, it will push me towards depression and anxiety and a lot of people want me to have that. I am not going to go that way,” the media quoted him saying.
Asim Riaz released the new song `Jeene De and luckily people are loving it. “Jeene De is very close to me. A lot of people tell me this or that, I understand it’s a responsibility after getting fame that I should do what the fans want. But I also want to do what I want. Joh sab kar rahe hain Woh bhi Mujhe karna hai, like web series, acting, but I am very happy in writing songs, fitness, modeling, and doing music videos. The fans, who want to leave me because I am not behaving like them, I am fine, they should go. They were anyway finding a reason to leave me and I am fine with it. I keep seeing their comments on social media, and I am fed up with all these things. They want me to do stuff that doesn’t make me happy. I have always done what I wanted in the 10-11 years,” he said.
Asim’s brother Umar Riaz also made a lot of headlines given his roller-coaster ride in Bigg Boss 15. Doctor by profession Umar was evicted from the show.
