Ranchi:Seven jawans of the CRPF were killed and four others injured in Naxal attacks at Budhapahar locality on border areas of Latehar and Gadhwa districts of Jharkhand .The Maoists reportedly exploded the security forces’ vehicle as it was returning after the completion of anti-Naxal operation at Budhapahar forest areas falling under Latehar-Gadhwa districts. In the tragic incident, seven jawans were killed and four others were injured, who were taken to hospital.
In the past four days, forces of CRPF of its 112 battalion and 40 assault group of Jharkhand Jaguar were carrying out anti-Naxal operations in Jharkhand. When they were returning after the operation on Tuesday evening, one of their vehicles was exploded by Maoists who looted the arms.
Sources said the bodies of the jawans were spotted at the site and security forces started an operation which is still continuing.
