2nd Div I-League: Real keeps Kashmir hopes alive

Srinagar, Apr 18: Real Kashmir Football Club Wednesday defeated Delhi United by 1:0 in a high voltage match of Second Division I- League thereby keeping its unbeaten streak alive in the first round.
The match that was played at Synthetic Turf TRC Srinagar amid a huge rush of spectators saw a good tussle between both the teams to take a lead in the league.
In the first half of the game, Real Kashmir FC’s got one penalty, which was converted into a goal by Atinder Mani.
In the second half of the game, the host team continued dominating the opponents aggressively by playing in an attacking mode.
The guest team till the end of the second half of the game couldn’t score an equalizer and the match ended with 1:0.
Real Kashmir FC is on second position in the group with nine points. It till now won three matches while three others ended in a draw.
By making a striking win, Real Kashmir FC keeps its hopes alive to qualify for the second round of the league.
The host team would face Hindustan Football Club on Saturday at Synthetic Turf before going to Pune for upcoming matches.
