Laparoscopic surgery facility started in SDH Tral

Tral, April 04: Laparoscopic surgery started for the first time at Sub district Hospital in Tral, where doctors performed two successful surgeries on the very first day.

According to hospital sources, a team of Doctors headed by Dr Nawab Ahmad Khan (Consultant Surgeon) and Dr Javid Aarif as Anesthetist performed two successful surgeries on Wednesday.

They said that, it was for the first time, when such type of surgeries were performed in the hospital.

“Facilities like laparoscopic will be beneficial for the patient care here,” they said.

A senior doctor of the hospital said that such facilities in the hospital will have better results.

He added that if medical and para medical staff, besides other high tech machineries will be sanctioned to the hospital, “no patient may be referred to other hospitals”.

It is pertinent to mention here, Tral hospital was upgraded in the year 1988 from community health center to SDH, but till the date no staff and other facility have been sanctioned to the hospital, with patients facing inconveniences every day.
