“Shifting us at the last movement is mere injustice. We are about to complete our degree. We have taken the admission at Amar Singh campus as it was close to the city centre and also to our home, shifting would affect our studies to a larger extent,” said a student, Shaista Mir of 4th semester

The students said that they have apprised the concerned authorities that they would not be joining the classes at Nawa Kadal College and Zakura campus.

“I am residing at Chadoora. I took the admission at the college as it is easy to reach the campus.  It would be difficult for me to reach Nawa Kadal or Zakura,” said a student, Bisma Bhat

“Asking us to shift at the last movement is totally against the rules. I urge the authorities to take their decision to back in the interest of the students, ”Bhat added.

The students said that if the authorities didn’t take the decision back, they would hit the streets.

“We don’t want to hit the streets but in case the decision was not revoked, we would be left with no option other than to hit the streets. The onus of any eventuality arising out of our protest would directly come onto the government,” the students added.
