Rasheed will represent aspirations of people in Parliament: AIP

Srinagar, Apr 8: The Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) contesting candidate for Central Kashmir Bilal Sultan Monday appealed people to vote and support their party. He said if elected from North Kashmir, Engineer Rasheed will represent Kashmiri aspiration in true sense.

 “People should give chance and test those who are sincere and honest and truly represent the aspirations of people,” Bilal Sultan said.

While addressing a press conference here at Press Club Srinagar, Bilal Sultan said that AIP supports and feels for the aspiration of people. “To give us a separatist tag is not fair. We are with people and what people want, AIP supports it. If they wish to be with India, we will support it and vice versa,” he said.

Bilal Sultan asked people not to boycott these elections as it will give benefit to those elements who take the power of people for granted. “People like Shah Faesal who is the man of principles supported Engineer Rasheed. People should also support him. He won’t disappoint people of Kashmir and will represent them in true sense,” he said.
